It was amazing being there to support Hempitecture at their ribbon-cutting ceremony as it marks a significant milestone for Hempitecture and the entire hemp industry. There were so many others there to support including the Idaho Department of Commerce, Architects Institutes of America, the U.S. Department of Energy, and local farmers.
As we stood with 100+ people in their state of art facility we listened to the team speak to all that they are and all that they’ll be. Mattie talked about how in a short time they went from their ground breaking ceremony to the ribbon-cutting, the labor of love. He continues on thanking everyone for their support and efforts which makes amazing things like this possible.
Everyone was given a tour and witnessed everything that the crop can be, the farmers loved it. They even constructed a build and insulated it with their new HempWool. This tour helped educate everyone on the importance of Hempitecture and how it contributes to the growth of the hemp industry.
It was an excellent opportunity for Hempitecture to showcase its new facility and the positive impact it will have on the local community, economy, and the industry. As the world continues to grapple with the challenges of climate change, resource depletion, and economic inequality, the industrial hemp industry and its revolutionary products, offer a glimmer of hope and the possibility of a brighter future for everyone.
