We take great pride in our fiber processing capabilities and the relationships we build with our farming network. From the Golden Triangle, and other suitable farming lands in Montana to the production lines of various industries, our hemp fibers represent not only innovation but also a commitment to quality, consistency, customer service and sustainability. Our operations are centered on providing solutions, and this begins with our farmers.

Our supply chain starts with dedicated partnerships across Montana and beyond, where we provide comprehensive agronomic support to ensure high-quality hemp fiber production. As hemp can be an environmentally sustainable crop, it offers significant benefits such as soil regeneration, carbon sequestration, water efficiency, and of course another crop for rotation into traditional systems. We collaborate closely with our farmers to optimize these benefits while ensuring that our fiber remains one of the strongest and most versatile natural fibers available today.

Our approach focuses on purpose-grown fiber crops and dual-purpose grain and fiber crops, where we upcycle the residual straw from grain production. This efficient use of the whole plant is key to achieving efficiencies and bringing the market to scale.

Platinum, Gold, Bronze: Versatile Fiber Grades for Diverse Applications

Our Montana Platinum Fiber stands at the top of our grading system, which includes Platinum, Gold, Bronze, and Short Fiber Blend. These grades represent a tiered approach to fiber quality, each suited for different industrial applications:

· Montana Platinum Fiber: This premium-grade fiber is well-retted, with a low hurd content. It is designed for applications requiring maximum strength and durability, with a clean, long fiber length.

· Montana Gold Fiber: A versatile mid-tier option, the Gold grade offers slightly higher hurd content and is suitable for products needing a balance of strength and flexibility.

· Montana Bronze Fiber: Featuring a higher hurd content and a fiber length range between 1.5in to 4 inches, this grade is ideal for applications like molded composites or insulation.

· Short Fiber Blend: A lower-tier fiber blend, typically unretted and mixed, this grade includes shorter fiber lengths and higher dust content, making it suitable for specific applications like felts or low-grade nonwovens.

Each of these fiber grades can be adapted for a variety of industrial uses, ranging from woven textiles and composites to nonwovens and paper products.

Functionality in Non-Woven Applications

One of the standout features of IND HEMP’s fiber is its adaptability for non-woven applications. The strength, absorbency, and lightweight nature of hemp fibers make them highly desirable in industries where consistency and performance are critical.

Our decortication process allows us to produce fibers that are exceptionally clean and uniform, key factors in non-woven manufacturing. This ensures that our fibers integrate seamlessly into

industrial processes, providing the consistency and efficiency required for widespread adoption. The absorbent properties of our fibers, combined with their natural durability, make them perfect for products like spunlace wipes, erosion control blankets, and specialty papers.

For more detailed specifications, the fiber grades are provided with varied fiber length ranges, moisture content, hurd content, and dust percentages to suit the technical needs of each application. These qualities ensure our fibers can be used effectively in the manufacturing of composites, nonwovens, and a wide range of technical products. These can be discussed and shared through contacting our sales team.

Adoption by Major Industries

As hemp fiber becomes more prominent in various industries, IND HEMP has established itself as a reliable supplier capable of meeting stringent technical and quality standards. Our consistent fiber production, backed by our agronomic support system and advanced processing technology, positions us as a key player in the growing hemp fiber market.

Whether for non-woven applications, automotive composites, or construction materials, our fibers are ready for large-scale industrial adoption. We invite you to explore the versatility and benefits of hemp fiber and see how it can meet your specific requirements.
