With all our hard-fought product development, market research, and of course everything that goes into our farming network, harvesting and then processing of industrial hemp we are ecstatic that we are seen and being heard! This has allowed us a pathway to becoming part of the Pet Sustainability Coalition. There was great work put in by team members to get the information needed to substantiate our membership and we are proud to say we adhere to the PSC vision: “We advance business through profitable environmental and social practices.”
We are sustainable for many attributes but what stands out? Because our litter is an alternative to mined clay, our bedding is an alternative to forest products and our oil is an alternative to overfished fish oil products. We will say it again, we are sustainable because we are the better alternative! And on top of that, our packaging is made with a high post-consumer recycled content. We’re not ones to gloat, but in this case, we’ll take some credit!
